Description
The supercontinuum white light source generates ultra-broadband output (0.4–2.4 µm) by coupling ultrashort pulses into a highly nonlinear fiber (typically a photonic crystal fiber, PCF), leveraging nonlinear effects, four-wave mixing, and optical soliton dynamics. The source features high intensity, ultrafast operation, and broadband white light.
This compact system delivers >500 mW total output power over 460–2400 nm, with power spectral density > -10 dBm/nm and spectral power ripple <0.1 dB. It is an ideal light source for fiber testing, fiber sensing, OCT, and other applications, serving as a versatile replacement for ASE, SLD, and halogen lamps.

When equipped with a tunable filter module, the Artiflame enables switchable output between supercontinuum and single-wavelength modes. The tunable single-wavelength output covers an ultra-broad range from 430 nm to 1450 nm within a single spot, offering maximum spectral selectivity for nanophotonics, fluorescence spectroscopy, and related fields. Alternatively, direct single-mode fiber output allows seamless integration with analytical systems such as confocal microscopes and spectrometers that feature single-mode fiber inputs.
